AXIS THEATRE COMPANY
presents
MERMAID THEATRE OF NOVA SCOTIA ’S

GOODNIGHT MOON & THE RUNAWAY BUNNY

Stories by MARGARET WISE BROWN
Illustrated by CLEMENT HURD
Adaptation by JIM MORROW
Production Design and Direction by JIM MORROW
Music by STEVEN NAYLOR

From the same company that brought our audiences
the hit show The Very Hungry Caterpillar... comes an
innovative double bill adaptation of two beloved
bedtime classics.

Goodnight Moon is a celebration of familiar nighttime
rituals, while The Runaway Bunny's pretend tale of leaving home evokes reassuring responses from a loving mum. Both tales feature whimsical puppetry and
evocative original music will bring a new sense of
appreciation to stories that have delighted several
generations.

Goodnight room. Goodnight moon.
Goodnight cow jumping over the moon.
Goodnight light, and the red balloon...

- Narrator, Goodnight Moon
