Our Mainstage Season of Literary Classics begins in November at the Norman Rothstein Theatre as we co-present with Axis Theatre Company, Lightwire Theater’s The Ugly Duckling & The Tortoise and the Hare.
December at the Waterfront Theatre sees the return of our award-winning musical Seussical (Grades Pre K+) that promises to have educators and students dancing in their seats as Horton the Elephant reminds us that ‘a person’s a person no matter how small’.
March brings much exuberance as we explore the importance of community with the Canadian Premiere of the charming musical Busytown, based on the book What Do People Do All Day? by Richard Scarry, perfect for Grades Pre K-3.
Wondrous Tales of Old Japan transforms the Waterfront Theatre stage in April. Japanese folklore, kabuki theatre, taiko drumming and shadow puppetry combine in this storytelling fusion for Grades 3+.
Join us for an adventure. Live theatre encourages young people to develop critical and creative thinking. It fosters imagination, and a love for the arts – something that will stick with a child for a very long time…even after the play is over. There’s something for every age group this season at Carousel, so book your classes early before they sell out!
