          December 18 – 20, 2015 @ Performance Works

By Maurice Sendak. Originally adapted for the stage by Carol Healas and TAG Theatre, Glasgow. Produced by Presentation House Theatre

          Recommended for Ages 3-8 years

When the rambunctious boy Max is sent to bed without supper, he finds himself transported to a faraway island inhabited by mighty Wild Things. Max earns their respect and becomes their king, setting off on a playful romp through the night. In this highly interactive production, the audience helps to transform Max’s bedroom into the various landscapes of his adventures from a rolling ocean to a forest. The audience then becomes the Wild Things as we are each given a mask and encouraged to “let the Wild Rumpus begin!”

          Icon_Go DogGo, Dog. Go!

          February 27 – March 20, 2016
          @ The Waterfront Theatre

Adapted by Allison Gregory and Steven Dietz. Adapted from the book “Go, Dog. Go!” by P.D. Eastman. Music by Michael Koerner

          Recommended for Ages 3-7 years

          P. D. Eastman’s classic children’s book comes to life on stage in an exploration of movement, color, and music. The dogs delve into life with gusto, creating a visual spectacle for the audience to feast upon. They snorkel. They howl at the moon. They ride a Ferris Wheel. They sing and dance and climb trees. The musical’s bustle and commotion pauses every so often for a moment or two of reflection, and then sweeps us again into the whirlwind of these lovable and goofy dogs.
