Julius Caesar production shots (it’s even better in real life!)

          August 4th, 2011

Come see the show — don't forgettabout it.

We’re 7 shows into our run, and things could not have began in a more exciting way — opening night had us inacting our ‘rain plan’ as we shuffled audience members inside Performance Works to complete Act II in the comfort of our indoor stage. Our volunteers, cast, crew, and tech team were amazing and the show ran with barely a blip. It also helped that the rain was kind enough to wait until we broke for intermission…

Regardless, it’s been an incredible first week. Almost 1000 people have joined us so far (and the weather exceedingly cooperative) and we encourage you to make yourselves one of the many.

Here are some great production stills by Ryan Alexander McDonald — these were taken at dress rehearsal — but I assure you, it’s even more incredible in person.

If these haven’t convinced you, I’ll let you in on an exciting thing called the Travel Raffle. This, friends, is no ordinary raffle. For $5, you can win 2 round trip tickets, all fees, surcharges & taxes covered, anywhere West Jet flies. Seriously. This is a prize package worth almost $5000  and you have a 1/1500 chance to win. That is, unless you buy many. Tickets are being sold on site by our friendly ushers at Performance Works every night the show runs. Come see the show, and buy a ticket! The winner will be drawn on August 13th, so don’t miss out! All proceeds go to Carousel’s Teen Shakespeare Program.
