Kiara first began her journey with CTYP when she volunteered for the organization during her high school years. A graduate of UBC’s Theatre Production and Design program in 2015, and recipient of the Christopher Gaze Award in Theatre, Kiara has gone on to work in the wardrobes of Bard on the Beach, The Arts Club, Gateway Theatre, and CTYP. Kiara loves working on productions for children and youth; she mentored and designed costumes for Theatre Temp’s spring production of The Domino Effect at Templeton Secondary School. Other costume design credits include Edward II (Theatre at UBC) as well as various dabblings in commercials and trailers.

First up as part of Kiara’s residency- her stunning costume designs for The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

Kiara’s residency is made possible by the generous support of the BC Arts Council’s Early Career Development Program, and RBC Foundation’s Emerging Artists Project.
