The timeless, magical classic from C.S Lewis’ Chronicles of Narnia series bounds on to the  CTYP stage this holiday season. Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy discover an old wardrobe that serves as an entry to an enchanted land with talking animals, mythical creatures, and a brave quest awaiting. A world premiere by award-winning Vancouver playwright Meghan Gardiner, this interactive play explores letters, numbers, colour, shapes and friendships. The Bee Stage provides a first live theatre experience for our youngest audience members. Children and their caregivers sit on mats while the gentle, engaging action takes place all around them. Live theatre develops critical and creative thinking in young people. It fosters imagination and a love for the arts, something that will stick with a child for a very long time—even after the play is over. We believe that the arts play a vital role in every classroom and strive to make theatre accessible, exciting and challenging for all ages.
