Carousel Theatre for Young People sadly announces the cancellation of the remainder of our 2019/20 Season due to the COVID-19 Pandemic..
This includes the cancellation of:
·Spring Drama School Classes
·All performances of Still/Falling by Rachel Aberle, a presentation of Green Thumb Theatre
·Spring Break Drama Camps
·All performances of The House at Pooh Corner from March 13-29 and our performances at Presentation House Theatre in April
We have also delayed the announcement of our 20/21 Season until such time as is more appropriate, and have postponed our major fundraiser, The Lawyer Show
As a youth serving organization, CTYP always puts youth and children at the centre of our decision-making. Although we are heart-broken to not be able to share stories with you right now, we know this is right decision.
Our first priority is the health and safety of our youth audiences, artists and staff, and as such we are unable to safely proceed in these uncertain times. Our hearts go out to our audiences, drama school families, artists, technicians, staff and volunteers.
The financial impact of these cancellations is staggering for our non-profit charity. If you would like to help CTYP during this time, please consider making a tax-deductible donation.
