Summer Camps

Our Summer Drama Camps are a great opportunity for children to learn through play. Taking part in the world of theatre helps young people to develop their imagination, teamwork skills, focus, confidence and self-expression. Camps are active and participatory; they encourage independent thinking and collaboration with others.

We offer mini (90 minute) morning camps, Monday through Friday, for ages 3 – 6 which include guided storytelling, dress-up, and theatre games that give children an introduction to drama, group work and creative play.

Our full-day summer camps for ages 7 – 12 introduce young people to the creative world of theatre through games, storytelling, improvisation, and character creation. They will learn to use theatre techniques to explore creativity and individual expression. The young actors will gain performance tools while sharing their ideas in a collaborative space. Weather permitting, students will spend some time having fun outdoors on Granville Island.
