All tickets are a final sale. If you need to exchange your tickets, allow at least 24 hours notice prior to your booked performance. All exchanges depend on availability and are subject to a $7.50 exchange fee for the entire party.

1. How much do tickets cost?
Tickets are regularly $35.00/adults, $29.00/students and seniors, and $18.00/young people. Click here to see our full ticket price sheet
2. Where are you located?
Carousel Theatre for Young People is located on Granville Island in Vancouver. Our administration offices, theatre school and rehearsal studios are located at 1411 Cartwright Street on Granville Island.
Our office is right across the street from the Waterfront Theatre, where we stage most of our plays. Please visit individual play pages to confirm their location.
3. Is there parking near your theatre?
Yes, there is parking. Granville Island has several pay parking lots and many free parking spots that are available for a maximum of 3 hrs before 7pm. Granville Island is a popular destination in Vancouver, especially on weekends, so do leave yourself plenty of time to find parking. 4. What is the running time of your performances?
The actual running time varies depending on the production. Please visit individual play pages for exact running times.
5. Do I need to purchase a ticket for my baby/toddler?
All children 12 months or older require a ticket to enter the theatre at one of our mainstage shows (excluding Teen Shakespeare Program and BEE Stage productions).
Babes in arms do not require a ticket for our mainstage productions at the Waterfront Theatre.

6. Can I exchange my tickets for another performance?
Yes. We will happily exchange tickets purchased directly through our Box Office for another performance of the same show. Please note: we require 24 hrs advance notice, and all exchanges are subject to availability. There is a $7.50 fee (per order) for exchanges for regular tickets. Subscribers get one free exchange per show.
7. Do children perform in your productions?
Carousel Theatre for Young People’s mainstage productions are performed by professional adult actors. Occasionally, there may be a child actor in the cast depending on the production. These children are also professional actors.
8. What are your office hours?
Our administrative offices are open for ticket sales Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. The Box Office at The Waterfront Theatre opens 1 hour prior to showtime.
9. Do you have wheelchair seating?
Yes. We do have wheelchair seating for our performances. Please call our Box Office at 604-685-6217 and let us know your seating needs at the time of your booking.
10. My schedule has changed. Can I get a refund on my tickets?
All ticket sales are final. As long as you contact us at least 24 hrs prior to the date of your performance, we will happily exchange your tickets for another performance of the same show. An exchange fee of $7.50 applies on the order.
11. How do you find your actors?
Carousel Theatre for Young People is a professional theatre company, and we hire actors who are members of the Canadian Actors Equity Association under the terms of the Canadian Theatre Agreement. Each June, Artistic Director Carole Higgins holds general auditions for the upcoming season. Play specific auditions are held by invitation only. 13. Do you accept the Access 2 Card?
We sure do! To book tickets with an Access 2 Card simply call the box office at (604) 685-6217. Please note, all tickets are pending availability.
