We are a professional theatre company, and as a member of the Professional Association of Canadian Theatres, we engage professional actors, directors, choreographers, and stage members under the terms of the Canadian Theatre Agreement.
Most of the actors, directors and choreographers we work with are members of Canadian Actors’ Equity Association. We also work with designers, many of whom are members of Associated Designers of Canada. Many of our playwrights are members of Playwrights Guild of Canada, and many of our technicians are members of IATSE.

Actors are welcome to submit their headshot and resume, along with a cover letter at any time throughout the year to info@carouseltheatre.ca
Please Note: Carousel Theatre for Young People’s mainstage productions are performed by professional adult actors. Occasionally, there may be a child actor in the cast depending on the production. These children are also professional actors.
TECHNICIANS & DESIGNERS
CTYP welcomes submissions from stage managers, designers, and technicians at any time.
DRAMA SCHOOL TEACHERS AND FACULTY
Though we are not currently actively hiring, CTYP is always open to expanding our roster of Drama School Faculty members. If working in a hands-on drama classroom setting with kids between the ages of 3-17 is of interest to you, please email our Education Coordinator Shea Heatherington with your Resume and Cover Letter at education@carouseltheatre.ca
