Carousel Theatre for Young People is a remarkable gem; truly one of a kind in Canada and located in the heart of Vancouver! And we are heading into our 50th season of making theatrical magic for kids and the network of caring adults in their lives.

We believe that theatre empowers young people to change their world, and that through the work we do, introducing young minds to new ideas, and giving them agency to talk about it, that we are helping steward that change.

A recent study found that if people don't see a play before the age of 8, they never will! So in addition to helping shape incredible human beings, we are also helping foster the future of the arts ecology!

But we need your help to do it!

Our goal is to raise $7000. CTYP’s Board of Directors, have come together and are holding hands with Ken Gracie and Philip Waddell of The McGrane-Pearson Endowment Fund held at the Vancouver Foundation. Together, we will match all donations made until June 30, 2026, making an incredible total of $17,000!
